Meow! The little angels sing,
Echoing the bells that ring.
Loving all, but pretty wild,
Antics making us beguiled.
Happily the kittens play,
Celebrating Christmas day.
Round the tree we watch them run.
Never have they had such fun!

'Tis the season for a caper.
Steal some tinsel from the tree.
Stuff myself with roast turkey.
Listen to the doorbell ringing.
People outside still are singing.
Wish they'd shut up so I could nap.
If only I could find a lap.

Hanging on my neck!
Oh, what fun it is to play
With jingles on my toys!

Dashing through the house,
Chasing all my kitty toys,
Cross the floor I go,
Making lots of noise.
Bells on collars ring,
And make a cheerful sound.
What fun it is to run and play
With all the stuff I found!

It came upon a freezing cat,
Shivering in the cold,
Christmas is for being warm,
And loved inside the fold.
Please let me in--
I'll be so good,
You'll want to keep me always.
The world outside is so cold,
I freeze my tail some days!
